MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer $12.94 @ Staples

Even better than the CrapUSA deal.

I wanted another one for my home computer, but CompUSA was out during their deal. Today's Staples ad has it for $12.94. The red one is actually on sale, but I talked the manager into giving me the blue one for the same price. YMMV on the color.

If you order online, signup for a Staples rewards account to get free shipping. Usually, takes about a day for the syatem to update (or order by phone).

Got the mouse in. It's taking me a bit of adjusting and while I don't think it's great for gaming, it's growing on me for office work. I don't care for the fact it's so heavy towards the back and it takes a bit more effort then it should to click down the scroll wheel. Also, I like my scroll wheel to click a little when rotating it and have somefeed back.

But it's got it's pros too. It took me awhile to get used to the thumb buttons being so far up, but now that I am used to them I sorta like them out of the way. The mouse also has a nice ergonomic feel to it and fits the hand naturally. The side scrolling feature is neat, but i've not had allot of use for it as of yet. Some people are critical of it's range (not tracking well when far from the receiver), but the receiver is 3 feet away on the other side of some objects and it still works well. It even tracks well without being on a pad, something that other optical mice i've had don't do well on my desk. The feature that sold me was the battery life. I didn't want to be changing batteries like on my Logitec desktop combo all the time. This will do me till the better, rechargeable wireless mice/keyboard Logitech combos drop in price (I just can't bring myself to pay $100 for a mouse and keyboard).

At $13 it's still a steal.

What would have been funny is if you said you agreed, "with the exception of....." and went on to contradict everything I wrote above.

Don't think. It's bad for the mind. I let PB&J do all my thinking for me.
