5 Money Saving Tips Shopping For Sandals

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Sandals are great during hot temperatures and even not-so-warm weather for some.  The airy shoes is even better when the quality is high but the price is not.  Scoring cheap sandals that won’t fall to pieces days later might not seem logical, but if you trust in the following 5 ways to save on purchasing sandals, you might just be shocked.

one.Shop in between seasons

it might not be as fun to shop for hardly there kicks when it’s sleeting, but it pays!  Retailers with stashes from the season before throw the inventory on the shelves at extraordinarily discounted prices–up to seventy and eighty p.c off.  Sizes and styles may be somewhat limited in this instance, but in my experience it yields the highest savings.

two.Shop before the season starts

When everyone is getting worked up about the new garments and shoes for fall, bargain sandal patrons take to the clearance bins.  Usually the discounts aren’t quite as low as off-season deductions but the savings is still big.  Retailers have no option except to knock some change off the costs as the winter and fall inventory steals the space.  The summer shoes have got to go!

three.  Scan the Sales Ads

If you can’t fathom buying your sandals in the dead of winter, another neat way to save on purchasing sandals is watching the sale ads.  Many stores will have a buy two get one free special and occasionally even a buy 1 get 1.  Others will run advertisements for a percent off all sandals.  If you don’t need ( or can’t spare the cash for ) two pairs of shoes, shop with a pal or buy for some other person.

four.  Keep Your Eye on the Clearance

though prices drop significantly for sandal patrons in winter and fall, many outlets begin slashing costs on their sandal inventory in early and mid-summer.  Styles come and go quickly and if a sandal isn’t meeting expectancies, shops would like to see it gone so they can replace it with a more profitable color or style.  A good policy is to do a quick top level view of the clearance section every time you hit the shoe aisle. If you see fit flops electra get them at a discount

5.  It will pay to stay home

Cut expenses without leaving your house?  It sounds unusual, but it’s’s true.Focus on packed stores.  Many discounts and coupons are available for shoppers buying thru the web.  Clearance sandal selections are sometimes bigger and better online also.  Check out your favorite shoe-store website to see what kind of coupons and discounts they offer.  It’s very simple to take advantage of these deals ; you simply type in the discount code at checkout.  If you are really a bargain client, you’ll wait for a shipping free pass to go together with your fit flops clearance sandal purchase.  For example if you want to buy Fit Flops on clearance you would check to see the shipping offers are to your preference.

Follow the previous 5 ways to save on sandals and your bargain-hunting should be a success .  Chuffed shopping for fit flops Walkstar!

Fitflops – Tone Your Legs And Trim Your Butt

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Ex personal trainer Marcia Kilgore found that she didn’t have enough time to visit the gym due to her busy lifestyle – so she decided to take steps to remedy the situation. In collaboration with the London South Bank University (LSBU) she developed a range of fitness shoes known as Fitlops.

These utilise a specially engineered three piece sole, called a “microwobbleboard”, to provide the wearer with a workout while walking. A high density material is employed in the heel section in order to reduce shocks whilst walking. The mid section of the sole, between the arch and just behind the toes, is made from a low density material. The front (toe) section is manufactured from a medium density material.

The three separate areas, and the different types of materials used, work together to prolong the duration of muscle usage during normal walking. The muscles work for up to 16% longer than normal – which means that every step you take in your Fitflops trims your legs and tones your buttocks.

After extensive testing at LSBU, the Fitflop range was first launched in the UK in 2006. They were an immediate success and some customers even had to join a waiting list just to get hold of their Fitflops. To begin with the range consisted mainly of flip flop type sandals. However, customer feedback suggested that other styles were required and the range was expanded. Today, you can choose from a wide selection of Fitflop sandals, boots and clogs in both male and female styles. Some of them look amazing. There are plenty of different colors and styles to choose from and, best of all, they’re now on sale in the USA.

So if you struggle to find enough time to visit the gym, or even if you just find it difficult to motivate yourself to take exercise, then why not consider getting a pair of Fitflops? Just put them on instead of your usual shoes and walk about as normal to get the benefit of exercising your lower body without having to alter your daily routine.

Top 5 Tips For Buying Sandals On The Internet

Monday, October 12th, 2009

Most budget conscious shoppers find purchasing

sandals online saves time, money

and gas.  One of the finest methods to buy sandals

online is by searching for woman’s sandals,

particularly dress or casual sandals such as fit flop sandals

Buying for any type of shoe on the Net,

especially sandals the shopper must know the

precise size, style and color desired before

placing the order.

Check your Size

one.  Go to a neighboring shoe store,

check the sandals plus have them measure your feet.

Measure the size and width of your feet for either a closed shoe or

sling backs.  Try on one or two sandals in different styles to

see if the straps cut across the width, if the

shoe rubs your tiny toe, or the heel is too high.  Walk

around wearing the shoes to see if they’re

comfortable.  Retain this info

and use it when buying the sandals on the web.  Make absolutely sure you note the

type of the sandals and the price asked in the

stores.

If the Price is right buy more

2.  Search for the exact or similar sandals online .  Not all online shops charge an

identical price, while it is

faster to buy on the web than

in a shoe store.  Purchase two pairs

if you totally love the sandals and fit.  Buy the

sandals in every color if they cost a lot less on the internet than in a regular shoe store.

check brand prices from multiple sources

3.  Compare costs between designer sandals and the

cheaper brands.  Designer shoes usually have better

arch support and comfort.  The price might be

a little more but the fit will give miles better support.

The designer brands could be priced differently depending on

the store.  Shop the web for a particular

designer label and look for the exact sandals you

wanted to buy.  Comparison shopping is great online so milk it.

Check the Stores Return Policy

four.  When you have established your

accurate size, and found the sandals you

fully ‘must have’, inspect the

Net site’s return or exchange policies.  Sandals such as fitflops are easy to return.

Moreover, before purchasing, ensure you will

be able to receive cash back in case the

shoe doesn’t fit nicely or not the correct size.

Always pay via pay friend or by credit card.  Never send a check.  You may require

help if the web site declines to make a

cash reimbursement and at most will exchange

for a different shoe.

Only try sandals on a clean floor

five.  If you buy new sandals, for instance fit flops, never wear the shoe’s out-of-doors till you

know the shoe’s are comfy.  Walk around with the

shoes only wearing them on the carpet for one or two days.  Ensure the soles of the shoes don’t get

scratched or marred in any way or the store may not issue

either a refund or exchange.

Fit Flops

OMG – I have just seen the very bestest thing ever!! Shoes that you can wear that are both comfortable and help to tone and trim your legs – Fit Flops. According to the hype, sores and aches (especially back) can be relieved by using FitFlops.

The recommendation is to only wear them for the maximum of 3 hours a day when you are first using them. They are marketed as the flip flop with the gym built in.

FitFlops are currently selling like hot cakes due to the sudden change in season (I can see some sunshine through my office window) and I’m still deliberating whether to buy a pair.

Having learnt to walk and talk, my toddler still loves me to carry him – putting a lot of strain on my poor back and causing problems. I could also do with shedding a pound or two which I haven’t got round to losing since my pregnancy. I am not quite ready to spend out on fitflops.

I managed to avoid Uggs long enough to realise the disgusting state that they got into after wearing them for a while. In fact, perhaps after a long winter of Ugg wearing and treading down the back of your boots, FitFlops are what you need to sort out your posture again!

My lucky mum is going to be bought a pair of these for mothers day (so that she can test them out before I buy myself a pair).

They come in a range of coulours – white, blue, black, pink and more. Hi-Tec are a brand that are interested in working with fitflop to develop a new shoe.

They are in the progress o recreating this new innovation for the male market. If my dad is really lucky, he’ll get a pair too for fathers day.
